Havens Community Cars CIO is a volunteer car scheme (sometimes called a VCS) that has been registered with the Charity Commission and has an unpaid volunteer Trustee board. We recruit, train and support volunteer car drivers who will donate their time, vehicle and driving skills. Government approved volunteer expenses are paid, including a fuel allowance, meaning that our drivers are not out of pocket.

Our scheme has been designed to be sustainable and long-term, benefiting residents not already being supported by other transport providers or able to easily access public transport.

We are currently recruiting volunteer drivers to remove barriers to transport and improve inclusion.
