Volunteer at our Supported Breakfast Sessions!
We’re looking for friendly, caring volunteers to join us at our Supported Breakfast Sessions in Newhaven.
Each morning, we provide a warm and welcoming space for people who may be experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping or housing insecurity, and our volunteers play a really important part in making that space feel safe, friendly and supportive.
As a volunteer, you might:
Help prepare and serve breakfast, Make tea, coffee and hot drinks, Have a chat and offer a friendly listening ear, Help create a welcoming and respectful environment, Simply be there to make someone feel seen, valued and welcome

Newhaven’s Mayor Sponsers Havens Community Hub!
Newhaven's Mayor, Councillor Mark Wardle, is preparing to run a full marathon (26.2 miles) as part of a year-long fundraising campaign supporting two fantastic local charities:
Homeless in the Havens (Havens Community Hub)
& Rainy Day Foundation
Throughout his Mayoral year, Mark will be taking part in various events, community activities and personal challenges to raise money for people facing homelessness, adversity and mental health issues.
Mark said:
"I wanted my year in office to make a real difference to the people who call our town home. Every mile I run and every fundraising event we hold is aimed at supporting two incredible charities that help local people facing hardship."
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference.
